Hunting large game is considered men’s work. But when the hunters are off in the forest the women have to meet their families’ needs, so they hunt small game—a tradition that Huguette Basilish wants to pass on to her daughter Noémie. This film was made possible by the Wapikoni Mobile, a travelling production and distribution studio for young people in Aboriginal communities.
